How to Convert a Client to Project, or Phase to Project on Mosaic

By default, Mosaic maps the following Costpoint Project Levels to Mosaic Data Types:

Demote a Client (Costpoint Project Level 1) to become a Mosaic Project

1. On Mosaic, go to Settings > Integrations > Costpoint
2. Under the Clients tab, find the unlinked Client (Costpoint Project Level 1) that you wish to demote to a Project
3. Select the Client and click Change to Project

4. Navigate to the Projects > Unlinked tab
5. You should find the new Project listed under No Client

Promote a Phase (Costpoint Project Level 3) to become a Mosaic Project

1. On Mosaic, go to Settings > Integrations > Costpoint
2. Under the Projects tab, find the Phase that you wish to promote to a Project
3. If the Project is linked, unlink the Project first

4. Under Projects > Unlinked, click on the 3-dots next to the Phase and click Change to Project

5. Refresh the page and navigate to the Projects > Unlinked tab
6. You should find the new Project available for import
