Supported Integration Migrations and Data Migrations

Estimated Timeline:

The Integration Migration Process between integrations will take roughly 2-3 weeks to complete.

Data migration services are available for the following common integration migrations:

  • Vision Hosted to Vision Cloud
  • Vision Hosted to Vantagepoint Hosted
  • Vantagepoint Hosted to Vantagepoint Cloud
  • Vision Cloud to Vantagepoint Cloud
  • Ajera Hosted to Ajera Cloud

Data Types supported in the migration:

  • Projects
  • Phases
  • Clients
  • Employees
  • Time Entries

Please Note:

Time entry migrations are only supported between Ajera Hosted and Ajera Cloud if Ajera Cloud ODBC Connection is established.

Time entry migrations from a Hosted Integration to a Cloud Integration for other Deltek products (Vision/Vantagepoint) are supported, but require a Stored Procedure to be added to your Deltek product for future time entries to be synced.

Migration Process Guides

Migrating between Hosted Integrations

  1. Notify your Customer Success Manager regarding the migration in Deltek products, and provide the cut-off date for entering data into your old system.

  2. After you verify that all the SQL Server Integration Requirements have been met, your Customer Success Manager will schedule a call with your IT team to set up the the new Hosted integration on your server machine.

  1. The Mosaic Integrations team will migrate the data and mappings from your old integration to your new integration.

  2. Mosaic will archive your old integration.

  3. Your Customer Success Manager will reach out to you and schedule a meeting to review the data in the new integration.

Migrating from a Hosted Integration to a Cloud Integration

  1. Notify your Customer Success Manager regarding the migration in Deltek products, and provide the cut-off date for entering data into your old system.

  2. Set up your new Cloud integration following the appropriate setup instructions.

  1. Once connected to your new Cloud integration, do not enable auto import or manually import any projects from your new integration. The Mosaic Integrations team will migrate the data and mappings from your old integration to your new integration.

  2. Mosaic will archive your old integration.

  3. Your Customer Success Manager will reach out to you and schedule a meeting to review the data in the new integration.

    1. To sync Time Entries, Profit Centers, Bill Rates and/or Work Plans from your new Cloud integration, contact your Customer Success Manager for Stored Procedure(s) and more information.

Migrating between Cloud Integrations

  1. Notify your Customer Success Manager regarding the migration in Deltek products, and provide the cut-off date for entering data into your old system.

  2. Set up your new Cloud integration following the appropriate setup instructions.
