Data Retrieval Overview
Data Retrieval Ranges
Projects & Phases
Data fetch for projects and phases can be initiated in three ways:
- By opening the integration page, retrieving data from the past 30 days.
- Through the automated daily fetch(es), retrieving data from the past 120 days.
- Through the automated weekly fetch, which fetches all available project and phase data.
Time Entries
When linking a new Member, Mosaic fetches the member's time entries from the previous 10 years.
Regular updates of time entries occur through the automated daily fetch(es), covering the past 120 days.
Work Plans
When linking a new Member, Mosaic retrieves associated work plans dating back 10 years, when applicable.
Current work plans are updated via the automated daily fetch(es), retrieving data from the last 120 days, when applicable.
Other Data Types
For data types supported by each integration other than time entries and work plans, a data fetch can be initiated in two ways:
- Opening the integration page, fetching data from the past 30 days.
- Upon the automated daily fetch(es), retrieving data from the past 120 days.
For a full list of data types supported by each integration, please refer to the integration-specific documentation.
Data Retrieval Schedule
Default Schedule
Mosaic automatically retrieves data from integrated applications twice daily at randomized times (excluding .bak file integrations). Because of this fixed schedule, data changes from your integrated system may take up to 12 hours to appear in Mosaic after they are made.
4× Premium Option
For customers on the 4× Premium option, Mosaic offers a higher-frequency sync — running four retrievals per day. With this enhanced schedule, data changes are reflected faster in Mosaic, with syncs occurring approximately every ~6 hours. (Contact your Customer Success Manager for availability and pricing.)
Custom Schedule
Upon request, Mosaic can configure custom retrieval schedules to fit your operational needs (excluding .bak file integrations). This allows data to be synced at specific times tailored to your timezone and workflow.
Data Retrieval Schedule for .bak IntegrationsData for .bak file–based integrations is refreshed once daily at 3:00 AM EST. For more information, please refer to this Guide.
